{"id":529,"date":"2014-10-29T15:44:07","date_gmt":"2014-10-29T15:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/observaped.new\/2014\/10\/29\/meningite\/"},"modified":"2020-07-24T12:53:38","modified_gmt":"2020-07-24T12:53:38","slug":"meningite","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.medicina.ufmg.br\/observaped\/meningite\/","title":{"rendered":"Meningite"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Meningite \u00e9 uma inflama\u00e7\u00e3o das meninges \u2013 membranas que envolvem o c\u00e9rebro \u2013 causada por diferentes bact\u00e9rias, v\u00edrus ou fungos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seus sinais e sintomas dependem da idade da crian\u00e7a, da sua resposta e da dura\u00e7\u00e3o da doen\u00e7a:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicina.ufmg.br\/observaped\/febre\/\"><strong>Febre<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicina.ufmg.br\/observaped\/vomitos\/\"><strong>V\u00f4mitos<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Irritabilidade;<\/li>\n<li>Prostra\u00e7\u00e3o;<\/li>\n<li>Choro alto;<\/li>\n<li>Dificuldade respirat\u00f3ria e de<a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicina.ufmg.br\/observaped\/amamentacao\/\"> <strong>amamenta\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/a><strong>;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicina.ufmg.br\/observaped\/dor-de-cabeca-cefaleia\/\"><strong>Dor de cabe\u00e7a<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Rigidez da nuca;<\/li>\n<li>Convuls\u00f5es;<\/li>\n<li>Abaulamento de fontanelas em lactentes;<\/li>\n<li>Entre outros.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Para preven\u00e7\u00e3o da meningite, \u00e9 recomendada a vacina\u00e7\u00e3o contra hem\u00f3filo tipo B, presente na vacina penta ou hexavalente, contra pneumococo e meningococo, dispon\u00edveis no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicina.ufmg.br\/observaped\/calendario-vacinal\/\"><strong>calend\u00e1rio vacinal<\/strong><\/a>.
