The Graduate Program in Pediatric Medicine began in 1985 with authorization to offer a Master’s degree. The Doctorate degree was established in 1994. In 2004, the Graduate Program in Pediatric Medicine was transformed into the Graduate Program in Health Sciences – Child and Adolescent Health, facilitating the admittance of professionals with different qualifications. Orientation activities are carried out by permanent accredited faculty members, after the evaluation of résumés and approval by the collegiate board.
